This may be the perfect sub 5 grand classic. It’s unique, has immense presence on the road, is probably fun to drive though not fast, and will probably run forever with the right maintenance and care. Only 106k on the odo and the price is $4,500. Best of all, no surface or structural rust other than the stylistic choice not to paint it. With its fresh upholstery, a quick respray could make this mint if you don’t like the aesthetic. This is going on NPoCP for sure.

But did you spy that Japanese Flag upholstered as the headliner? You can just see it in the head photo. From experience, unexpectedly finding a very person touch as the headliner can be somewhat off putting .

That Saab convertible is actually built in Finland. The same applies for a ll Saab convertibles before the model update in 2003. The later models came from Austria.
The contraption is a wind deflector . You can lift it up while you are driving with the top down. Apparently it calms down the wind blowing towards your face.
